A few days ago, I thought about visiting Ampang's legendary Koreatown. Thanks to K-popped! Trio, I figured out how to get there. Visited four Korean Marts there, and they all had one thing in common – no price tag in most products... hmmm...The marts' interior were very homely. The whole atmosphere just reminded me of Chinese marts in England. However, people here were much more friendly and polite :-) One shop even gave me a discount for Chilsung Cider hehe.
The sun was so happy serving us today! Too happy perhaps... me and mum nearly melted scrubbing the balcony's floor.
Kimchi Jiege (Kimchi and Pork Soup) for dinner.How to make:
1) Put 2 cups of water and 250g kimchi in a pot, bring to a boil.
2) Add 100g diced pork and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
3) Add in more water. Then, add some finely chopped spring onions, fresh chili and cook for another 10 minutes.
4) Remove from heat. Serves 4 with rice and flavoured laver.
