Seoul: 感恩日

假日的早晨 - 在廟子裡的韓國人感覺上較和善。

今天是大韓國人紀念韓文文字的日子。

 我站在這裡你看得見嗎?

Seoul: 小心拍照

Ssamziegil is a great place to spend your morning in Insa-dong. This unique area was designed in such a way by connecting its charming alleys in the form of a spiral-like stairway.

Note: Photo-taking on handicrafts display is not allowed – sensible respect to the artists' hard work.

Thank you, Seoul.

It is rather surprising to me that this postcard could arrive because my adhered stamp value was actually 100won short. I guess the kindhearted people of N Tower had helped me here– now, that's how a country defines hospitality. I love the special Tower stamps :-D 감사합니다!

South Korea: day 7

Final day in Seoul. I had to try Lotteria! Hanwoo Steak burger was yummy! It had broccoli, mushrooms and mashed potato on top of a piece of juicy beef burger!

Incheon International Airport was not bad as it had many to offer for last minute shoppers in the main departure hall such as kimchis (in mini packs with wide variety) and many other Korean foods; CDs/VCDs/DVDs (at Shinsegae), magazines, etc. So, do allow some extra time to explore because once you passed the custom counters, there are mostly Duty-free shops, which to me, are not very interesting.

My flight was 16:45. Perfect time for a window seat.

South Korea: day 6

Lovely morning in Dongdaemun Market... very interesting hoarding for the upcoming Dongdaemon Design Plaza & Park (launching 2010)...

Leeum Samsung Museum of Art (Hangangjin Station, Exit 1) comprised of two major exhibition facilities: MUSEUM 1 for Korean traditional art and MUSEUM 2 for Korean and foreign contemporary art. Kind of disappointed with the museum shop though...

National Museum of Korea (Ichon Station, Exit 2)... it was of massive scale.... and beautiful.

Shopping at Lotte Mart (Seoul Station, Exit 1) was fun and the buckwheat noodles at Woo Lae Oak (Euljiro 4 ga Station, Exit 4) was a little expensive but had the most terrific flavour!
