Happy Shepherd's Pie


Serves 4

What you need:
• 300g ground pork
1 onion chopped
1 cup mixed vegetables - chopped carrots, corn, peas
3 big potatoes
2 butter cubes
Worcestershire sauce
Salt, pepper, other seasonings of choice

How it's made:

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 20 minutes).

2 Sauté onions in some oil until tender (10 mins). Add in mixed vegetables.

3 Add pork and sauté until no longer pink. Add salt and pepper. Add worcesterchire sauce. Add some water, uncovered, over low heat for 10 minutes.

4 Remove the skin from the cooked potatoes. Mash potatoes in bowl with butter, season to taste.

5 Place meat and vegetables in a baking dish. Distribute mashed potatoes on top. Rough up with a fork so that there are peaks that will brown nicely.

6 Cook in 400 degree oven until bubbling and brown (about 30 minutes).
